2012 Las Vegas Shows

No city attracts more visitors from around the world than the City of Sin, Las Vegas. With a record breaking 37 million visitors in 2010 alone, Las Vegas continues to hold the title of the live entertainment capital of the world. There are many must see 2012 Las Vegas Shows coming to the extravagant resort-casinos on The Strip. Here are some of the highlights of 2012!

Residency’s:
Menopause The Musical
A comedy about the aging of the female body, Menopause The Musical strikes the hearts of many baby boomers with an interesting musical topic. Covering everything from cramps to hot flashes this musical will make u laugh the night off while hearing the tunes of popular recreated music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s.

Celine Dion
Canadian singer Celine Dion is going to be in Las Vegas for some time. She is currently in a 70 show a year, three year contract with the Las Vegas Caesar’s Palace for her show ‘Celine.’ The show is considered by some critics to be “the most profitable act in Las Vegas since Elvis Presley.”

Carrot Top
Stand up comic Carrot Top has come quite a long way from the early 00’s ATT commercials. The 46 year old satirical comedian has a residency at the prestigious Luxor Resort, and is proclaimed by the hotel as the “Comedian of The Year.”

Absinthe the Musical
Another fabulous show at the Las Vegas Caesar’s Palace is acrobatic musical performance Absinthe. Presented by the Traveling Circus Speigelworld, Absinthe combines “feats of strength, balance, danger and unfathomable flexibility.” with song and dance to keep the crowd entertained. The New York Post claimed it to be, “off-beat European circus on acid.”

Jabbowockeez MÜS.I.C Live at The Monte Carlo
Season one winners of the TV show America’s Best Dance Crew, The Jabbowockeez land a show at the prestigious Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. The Bay Area based B-boy group shows off intricate group hip-hop dance routines while also playing some live original mixed music by The Bangerz.

Short Stays:
Elton John
Sir Elton John is doing 2 one week residency’s at Caesar’s Palace showcasing some of his classic pop hits from the 70’s to the present. Elton will be performing for a week in February and a week in April. Be sure to catch the phenomenal live performer in Vegas before he leaves!
