New Kids on the Block had huge success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. They sold 80 million records worldwide and won two American Music Awards in 1990. They were considered an American boy band from Boston, Massachusetts. They launched in 1984 and were produced by Maurice Starr. The band members are Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood.
