Notably the second oldest Cirque residence in Las Vegas is The Bellagio’s O. Opening its doors back in October of 1998 the O theater is designed to look similar to a 14th century European opera house and has 1,800 seats. The eleven act show is all entirely performed in or above water with many synchronized water dances and stunts. The O’s costume design was heavily influenced by the Baroque period as well as Indian culture. Starting in late October 2010, Cirque Du Soleil starting offering backstage tours of the O theater. As of May 2011, O has reached 6,000 performances. O has grossed nearly over a billion dollars since its open date October 15, 1998. If you want to enjoy an interesting Cirque Du Soleil show that incorporates many acts with water, put the O on your list of things to do in Vegas.
