Jeff Dunham made a splash on the Comedy scene in 2006 with his Comedy Central special, ‘Jeff Dunham: Arguing with Myself.’ The comedian found a niche with his impersonations and use of puppets to help tell his routine. One of his most notable characters is Achmed the Dead Terrorist. Dunham’s routine consists of a combination of joke telling and conversing with his puppets through the art of ventriloquism. Forbes noted him as being the third highest paid comedian after Jerry Sienfeld and Chris Rock. After his own comic series ‘The Jeff Dunham show’ he decided to take his act on the road. Jeff Dunham LIVE begins October 7th, 2011 and ends March 31st, 2012. The performances cover 64 dates across the United States with many shows in the South.
